Kaon Serjani:

Kaon Serjani studied journalism at University of Tirana and later completed an M.A. in Christian Apologetics and Ethics at Denver Seminary in the U.S. For 15 years, he was engaged in evangelism through Cru ministry until the summer of 2022, when, together with his wife, he founded the Institute for Faith and Cultural Engagement, an initiative aimed at creating a safe environment for raising questions about faith and receiving credible answers. Kaon is passionate about literature, philosophy, apologetics and theology and particularly answering the heartfelt questions and objections people have about the Christian faith. He has an expertise on the philosophy of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. In recent years, Kaon has spoken on a variety of topics in public lectures, churches, youth events and conferences across Albania. He also frequently engages the general public through his writing. He has written four books: The Cell of Freedom (a novel, 2016), a scholarly book On Truth, Religion, and Morality (2020, published also in Macedonian in 2023), Reasons to Believe (2023), and Dialogue with the Atheist Ben Blushi (2023). He is married to Danjela, has two young boys, and lives in Tirana.

Danjela Serjani:

Danjela Serjani graduated with a degree in Political Sciences from the University of Tirana, Albania in 2004. After college she served 18 years with Cru, an international Christian ministry serving mainly with college students. In 2019 she completed an M.A. in Biblical and Theological at Denver Seminary in Colorado. She loves history, theology, philosophy and how these disciplines are intertwined in giving plausible and reasonable support to the truthfulness of Christian claims. She is very passionate about teaching, training and mentoring young people to love God and love others. In recent years she has spoken on topics such as the intersection between science and faith, the influence of Christianity in the Western culture, historicity of the Bible, Eschatology, etc.

Jonida Llapushi:

Jonida Llapushi earned her Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Tirana in 2020. A tech enthusiast with a heart for service, Jonida has spent two years as a Cybersecurity Specialist and three years as a Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer until December 2023. She lives in Tirana with her husband Edi, and together, they have been dedicated volunteers with IFCE since its foundation.She joined IFCE as an intern in February 2023.Jonida channels her passion for technology to connect with people and share Christian values. She finds joy in exploring philosophy, theology, apologetics, and expressing herself through singing. Jonida is on a mission to help others navigate their faith journey, providing not just relevant answers for their questions, but a genuine connection through compassionate care and love, reflecting the heart of her beliefs.

Our Volunteers

These are our amazing volunteers who are Christian believers from different churches. They are intelligent young Christians who want to grow in apologetics and evangelism skills. They are the new ambassadors of Christianity in Albania and they are committed to growing in articulating their faith reasonably, logically, faithfully to the Bible, and relevant to the culture.
